Bail bonds are coming soon
Faithful Path Bail & Recovery is completing its Missouri bail bond and surety recovery licensing. We do not write bail bonds or perform surety recovery until those licenses are issued.
If someone needs a bond today, the jail can tell you which licensed agents are currently writing bonds there. Our repossession and skip tracing services are available now.
Bail bond questions
What kinds of bonds can a Missouri judge set?
Depending on the charge and the judge, a bond can be cash only, a 10% cash bond, a surety bond written by a licensed bail bond agent, a signature (recognizance) bond, or a personal surety bond secured by real estate. A bail bond agent can only help with bonds that allow a surety.
What is the premium?
The premium is the non-refundable fee charged by the bail bond agent for posting a surety bond. It is usually a percentage of the total bond amount. We'll quote it to you in writing before anything is signed.
What does a co-signer (indemnitor) agree to?
A co-signer promises the defendant will go to every court date. If the defendant fails to appear and the bond is forfeited, the co-signer can be responsible for the full bond amount and for the costs of returning the defendant to court.
How long does release take?
Once the bond is posted, release depends on the jail's processing. It can take anywhere from under an hour to several hours.
